Monday, 19 July 2021, the black market USD to LBP rates for today are expected to be somewhat volatile with a bullish USD price.

Unlike the usual weekend behavior, the black market applications did not actively increase the dollar rate in the parallel market.
A natural behavior considering that they are artificially increasing the USD price in Lebanon by more than 3,500 LBP within 48 hours.
That being said, the country is on a path to disaster in terms of essential goods.
The pharmacies are out of stock of the most essential 350 medications. Prices of eggs, bread, cheese, meat, fish poultry are skyrocketing to unprecedented levels.
On the other hand, the political deadlock is nowhere to be resolved anytime soon.
