Currency Intraday News

Today is a public holiday in Lebanon. Logically, no serious changes to the Dollar VS Lebanese Lira are expected as the trading volume should be very low.

On the other hand, the government formation is still in a stalemate. The ambassador of Saudi Arabia’s recent visit to President Michel Aoun didn’t help move things forward.

The ambassador urged all parties involved to quickly form a new government in order to restore the international community’s trust in the Lebanese government.

On the other hand, all international parties refuse to bail out the country’s debt until serious reforms are made by the Lebanese government. All this, while the Lebanese currency devaluation is taking its toll on every Lebanese citizen.
