Today, Friday 23 July 2021, the dollar to Lira black market opening rate is $1 = 21,175 Lebanese Pounds according to the USD To LBP website Lirarate.org.

The USD to LBP rate yesterday saw a significant drop for the first time since Hariri’s step down. This might be due to Monday’s new Prime Minister consultation, where Najib Mikati will most likely be nominated.
On the other hand, the fuel lines are back all over Lebanon with no clear solutions soon. The last batch of fuel seems to have been smuggled to Syria within a couple of days.
