The BDL circular 151 has taken its toll on the lira rate, as the Lira pound banknotes are becoming scarce and end-users are advised to use their debit or credit cards for LL purchases.
The USD to LBP is expected to decrease in the coming few days, but experts are saying that this is an indicator of another crisis, are we heading towards a different face of the current Ponzi scheme?
Some experts are expecting the Lira rate to become bearish again by the end of this month as the BDL will be forced to print 1000 billion lira notes to pay the salaries of the public sector employees.
