Today, April 26, 2023, the USD to LBP in black market experienced a slight drop to 97,200 LBP for 1 USD. This change comes after yesterday’s rate of 97,300 LBP for 1 USD, which indicates a minimal decrease in the value of the Lebanese Lira against the US Dollar.

Oil Prices Drop in Lebanon

In economic news, Lebanon has witnessed a drop in oil prices on April 25, 2023. The price of gasoline, both 95 and 98 octanes, has decreased by 30,000 LBP per can, while the price of diesel has gone down by 16,000 LBP. Lebanese Citizens Evacuated from Sudan Arrive in Two Batches

Lebanese citizens evacuated from Sudan arrived in Lebanon in two batches on April 25, 2023. A total of 48 individuals, including 32 Lebanese, 12 Palestinians with Lebanese documents, and 4 Syrians, were evacuated and transported to Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport via Jeddah Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The passengers arrived in two separate groups, with 12 arriving at 3:00 pm and 36 arriving at 11:30 pm via Middle East Airlines (MEA).
